I met Lisa Fenton at the Alberta Bushcraft symposium and was able to pull her aside for an in depth chat on primitive earth/bushcraft skills and life itself. Dr. Lisa Fenton is a Lecturer in Outdoor studies at the University of Cumbria, UK, with a background in Ethnobotany, Anthropology and Ethnobiology. She wrote her PhD thesis in Bushcraft and its relationship to Indigenous Knowledges.
