S1E7: Assumptions, Speculation and Conjecture

Show Notes

James and Mike discuss the reliability of Tony Simmons’ information. Then James asks Mike to speculate on what really happened in Chuck’s house on July 18, 1979. Citing the unexplainable orange tank top and his recollection of the cassette, Mike believes there is a sufficient amount of doubt cast on the ‘official’ version of the shooting. By filling in gaps with hunches and guesses, Mike offers alternative scenarios of the shooting. Was Richie’s death the result of a simple miscalculation?
